We've had a BUSY several days! The move on Saturday was smooth, easy, and relatively quick. The furniture fits beautifully! We've been unpacking, traveling to Guilford to pick up more stuff, having the piano picked up from Guilford (Monday), and moved in successfully (Tuesday), land line reconnected (with new number), installing grab bars and towel bars, hanging pictures (Jen and Grammie), etc, etc... Still more boxes to unpack, and some storage issues to work out. The stair chair arrives tomorrow (hopefully that goes as smoothly). The bathroom sink and cabinet have been ordered and will be installed hopefully before Thanksgiving! Dad's taken a shower in the new shower (works!) Mom's by turns elated, sad, upset that it's still a mess/needing help to organize when she'd like to do it herself, overall happy to be here I think... Dad took a long walk around the neighborhood and met 2 neighbors already. Eric Masters and Aunt Sandy came with dinner Saturday night; Paul came Saturday and stayed til Sunday to help. I can't wait for everyone to see it and welcome the new residents!
